OUR HISTORY
The Real Estate Shoppe was started in May of 1989. Our first address was at 209 Old Liberty Rd, Asheboro, beside Randolph Bank. Our five original owners were Linda Skeen, Debbie Craven, Faye Kenner, Janice Ellis and Jane Cranford.

We moved to 1002 South Church St. in 1992 and purchased the Coldwell Banker franchise in 1993. We have had different owners at different times. Pat Cooper and Carol Burrow joined as partners very early on.  Ellen Byrum Morgan joined us when Linda Skeen resigned in 1992. Faye left the real estate end and went to work at the Board office and worked there until 1998, when she came back as office manager.

We moved to this location in 1998 and at that time Emily Smith, Melissa Blalock and Carole Gilliam joined as partners.  Carole also had sold the highest priced house in the Asheboro MLS system -a cool $1 million!  In the past few years, we have had 2 of our dear friends & co-workers, Carol Gilliam & Jane Cranford unfortunately passed away. Janice Ellis & Faye Kenner have recently retired.

With Sharon Simmons as a new partner, we currently have 4 broker/owners. Emily Smith, Pat Cooper, Carol Burrow and Debbie Dennis. Debbie is the only original one left!

 Our agents who work with us are Bridget Gallimore, Wendy Davis, Silvia Sanchez, Jim Miller, Nicole Brabham, Honey James, Mary Stickle, Kim Autry, Sharon Simmons & Keith Newgard. Our support staff is Bridget Janiak, Office Manager.
